Chrome delete is a fitting job, not a sticker job

Most of the chrome on a car sits on window surrounds and trim, which means most of the surface we're wrapping is curved, has a tight radius somewhere, and wraps around into a return you can't see from outside the car. That's where a rushed job shows itself first: lifted corners at the mirror base, a bubble where the trim tucks in behind the quarter glass, vinyl that was stretched instead of heat formed into the shape. Doing it properly means taking the time at every one of those returns rather than treating the whole trim piece as one flat panel, and it's why this work is priced by the vehicle rather than off a flat rate.

The three finishes we stock

We install premium automotive vinyl in Light Smoke, Dark Smoke, or Yellow Tint. Light Smoke reads closer to a factory blackout trim look, subtle from a distance and clean on most colors. Dark Smoke goes further toward a full black-out chrome delete, the look most people picture when they hear the term. Yellow Tint is the option for anyone matching an accent color elsewhere on the car, headlight film or fog light trim in the same tone, so the car reads as one deliberate build rather than a few unrelated mods.

Why vinyl and not paint

Paint on trim means sanding, priming, and a color coat that's permanent the moment it cures, which matters the day you sell the car or decide you want the chrome back. Vinyl comes off. If you change your mind in a year, or the next owner wants the factory look back, a wrap can be removed without stripping paint or touching the original finish underneath. It also means we're not introducing any risk to the factory clear coat or trim finish in the process, since nothing gets sanded or chemically stripped to prep for a wrap the way it would for paint. A full chrome delete typically has the car with us for about 24 hours start to finish.

Badges, lettering and windshield banners while we're at it

The same vinyl work covers debadging and rebadging, whether that's removing a dealer badge someone else put on the car, swapping in an aftermarket badge, or reinstalling with permanent automotive adhesive.
