How a car moves through the shop
Four steps, in the order they actually happen. None of them are quick, and the one people skip is the reason cheap tint goes purple and lifts at the corners.
Measure
Every window on your car is a different shape and a different curve, and a pattern that fits a sedan does not fit yours. The glass is cleaned down, measured and the film is cut for that panel, which is the difference between an edge that disappears and one you can pick at with a fingernail in a year.
Cut
Ceramic film goes on wet and gets heat-shrunk into the curve of the glass until it lies flat with no fingers or creases at the corners. On rear glass and truck caps that is slow work, and it is the step most people are actually paying for whether they know it or not.
Mask
Tail lights, badge recesses and trim edges are masked before a blade comes near them. Vinyl work is reversible by design, so nothing here is drilled, sanded or painted, and if you sell the car the next owner can take it all back to factory.
Check
Film is looked at against real light, not shop fluorescents, because that is where a trapped speck or a lifted corner shows up. Our work carries a shop warranty, so if something moves after you drive it home, bring it back and we will sort it.
Why we tint car windows
Good ceramic film blocks upwards of 99 percent of UV, which protects your skin on a daily commute and stops the dash, the door cards and the seats fading and cracking out. It rejects a real share of solar heat, so the cabin runs cooler and the air conditioning is not fighting the sun the whole way home.
It cuts glare off low sun and off the headlights behind you, which matters more on a long drive than most people expect. And it keeps whatever is on your back seat out of sight from the sidewalk. The darker look is the part you see. The rest is the part you feel.
What the shop does
Prices below are the shop's own starting figures. Anything that moves with the vehicle is quoted on the car rather than guessed at over the phone.
Film
Premium ceramic film, cut and heat-fitted to each piece of glass. It blocks up to 99 percent of UV, rejects a serious amount of solar heat and cuts glare, so the cabin stays cooler and the interior stops fading. Six hours and up for a full car.
Tinting detail
Interior
The headliner comes out, gets recovered in the suede colour you choose, and the fibre optics go in behind it. You pick the star count, whether there are shooting stars, and whether the layout is random or drawn. From 249.99 dollars, about a day in the shop, consultation first.
Starlight detail
Vinyl
Factory brightwork taken down to a finish you actually want, in Light Smoke, Dark Smoke or Yellow Tint automotive vinyl. Window surrounds, grille frames, mirror caps and badges. Price moves with how much trim the car carries, so it is quoted on the vehicle.
Vinyl detail
Lights
Real automotive vinyl over the lens, not a spray can. Smoked tails, headlight wraps and vinyl eyelids in a colour that picks up your calipers or mirror caps. It peels off again without touching the lens. 99.99 dollars each, two hours.

Finish
Pre-soak, hand wash, hand-dried finish and an air dry that keeps swirl marks out of the paint, then hydrophobic spray wax, a full vacuum and a wipe-down inside. 199 dollars, four hours, with a deeper interior available when a car needs it.

Shop
We are not a repair specialist and we will say so. For regular customers we handle brakes, tire rotations, coolant flushes, plugs and batteries, and a full scan with a proper reader when a dash light comes on. 49.99 dollars for the diagnosis, no parts thrown at a guess.

Accent wrap and chrome delete
Window surrounds and trim taken off bright chrome, with the accent wrap carried through so the car reads as one piece instead of a bolt-on.
Badge delete and rebadge
Factory badges lifted without touching the paint, then the replacements set with permanent automotive adhesive and lined up by eye, not by guess.
Full window trim de-chrome
Every run of brightwork around the glass wrapped in one pass, including the tight returns at the mirror and the quarter light where most of the time goes.
Dealer badge removal
A dealership's own plastic badge taken off the tailgate and the adhesive shadow cleared, which is the cheapest thing on this page and the one people notice first.
